But you need to list the names of your spouse and children in your application, even if your spouse is filing a separate application, or if your spouse and children are not planning to immigrate with you to the United States. Your entry must include a photo that meets the specifications and remember that applications without photographs will not be considered. You need not pay any fee or submit supporting documents at the time of filing your entry.
To enter this program, you need to be a high school graduate and your education must be equivalent to a US high school diploma. If not, you need to have two years of work experience. Apart from that, you must be capable of financially supporting yourself. You must not become a burden to the country.
Will DV 2015 be the Last Green Card Lottery Program?
The immigration reform bill, that the Senate has passed, would abolish this lottery program. DV 2015 is likely to be the last Diversity Visa lottery program. People who do not have anyone to sponsor them can make use of this program and file their entries as soon as possible. If this program is abolished, foreign nationals will have to rely on their family members to get into the country. If not, they need to be skilled enough to get jobs in the United States to immigrate based on employer sponsorship.
