Georgia – Empire State of the South

Georgia, the largest state in the southeast, was one of the original 13 colonies. Georgia that was named after King George II of England, is the 8th most populous state of the U.S. Textiles and apparel, food processing, paper products, electric equipment, tourism and chemical products are the major industries of the state.
